May 1, 2010- Annual Book Sale

Our Annual Book Sale is Saturday, May 1st, with a rain date of May 8th. This is a big fundraiser for the Friends! We will also be collecting cans of household paint that day for the artists to use to paint the 'windows' for the Young St. building/future home of a new library.

You can help out before, during or after:

Before:
Distribute posters
Put out signboards
Help Karen sort books
On Friday afternoon, lug books up from basement

Day of:
Setup beginning at 8 am
Selling between 9 and 1 pm, in one- or two-hour shifts
Cleanup, including dump runs, 1-2

It is fun, doesn't take much time, you get to meet and talk with a bunch of great South Berwick folks.
