Friends of the South Berwick Library meets on the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 pm, in the conference room at the back of the South Berwick Medical Services building (use parking lot entrance). There are many ways for volunteers to get involved with the Friends. Find out more by contacting

Capital Campaign: a new library building requires fundraising! Your enthusiasm and dedication to the project are valuable assets to fundraising. Public Awareness: Spread the word out about our activities and projects. Events: Large and small.
Volunteer for our regular fundraising activities: Book Sale: held the first Saturday in May Strawberry Festival booth: the 4th Saturday in June Bake Sales: November Election and sometimes at the 2nd Tuesday in June balloting. Make phone calls, bake, staff the table.
Organizational help: There are many details to be attended to which can be done from your home. Like to make phone calls? Have good computer skills? Graphic design? All sorts of things. Website: The Friends website is easily used, and doesn't require special skills to add information. Our website will be a valuable tool and resource as we work to get a new library building and a volunteer is needed to help with this. Officers: We are very much in need of people to share the responsibiity of guiding the Friends.
